Ceilidh - We sure loved you
Ceilidh (KAY-lee) passed away today. She was suffering from multiple infections and organ failure and we did not want to prolong her suffering. Many tears were shed as we said goodbye to a cherished member of our family.
I put together the following slideshow...

Jonathan's First Public Musical Performance
Jonathan's pre-school class had a Christmas musical this past Friday night. Nanna, Pappa, Tee-Tee, and of course Momma, Daddy, and Mattchoo were all in attendance. (For those not familiar with Jonathan's monikers given to his loved ones, that's Jerry, Lynette, Lisa, Deanna, David, and Matthew.)
His class only sang two songs (think about it... that's already asking A LOT of pre-schoolers). I didn't get the first song on video because when I setup to shoot on the balcony, I didn't know where Jonathan would be. Well, of course he was positioned right behind a support post that blocked him from my camera angle. After figuring out if he was even up on stage, I sprinted to the other side of the balcony (almost taking a header down the stairs) and got an angle on him just as they were starting the next song ("Santa Claus is Coming to Town"). Sorry for the shaky camera work right at the beginning. I finally get things stabilized so the rest of the video is fine.
Jonathan did quite well for his public debut. He did all the hand motions and was singing most of the time. That's actually a lot more than can be said about some of the other poor kids who were just terrified and had to be held the entire time by the pre-school teachers.
